Context and Purpose of the Job

RioMed is a leading clinical software company based in the UK. Our core business function is developing and delivering clinical applications. We provide customised solutions to meet the specific requirements of healthcare professionals. Our mission is to improve healthcare at the point of delivery through patient participation and real time data capture. RioMed has been delivering clinical solutions nationally and internationally since 1997, in a variety of communicable and non-communicable disease areas including, HIV, sexually transmitted disease, Osteoporosis, Elderly Care, Rheumatology, Cardiology and Diabetes.

The overall purpose of the job for a content writer is to craft compelling, relevant, and valuable humanized written content that engages healthcare providers and patients. This content should promote a product while supporting the organization’s marketing and communication goals. The content writer must produce content for various platforms, including website content, blogs, news, social media, and innovative ideas, to create impactful narratives that resonate with the target audience and drive engagement.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop clear, persuasive marketing copy to promote our healthcare products on the website.
• Conduct keyword research and follow SEO guidelines to increase web traffic using SEMrush tool.
• Write detailed content for healthcare software products.
• Prepare well-structured drafts using Content Management Systems (CMS).
• Prepare blog posts, Social media content and new letters.
• Coordinate with marketing and design teams to illustrate articles and ensure cohesive content production.
• Identify customers needs and gaps in our content and recommend new writeups to enhance our content strategy.
• Ensure all-around consistency in style, fonts, images, and tone across all content.
• Update website content as needed to accurately explain our healthcare software and products.

ESSENTIAL

• A portfolio of published articles demonstrating writing proficiency and versatility.
• Experience conducting research using multiple sources.
• Familiarity with web publications and content best practices.
• Excellent writing and editing skills in English.
• Ability to meet deadlines consistently.
• Degree is required.

DESIRABLE

• Proven work experience as a Content Writer with a minimum of 2-3 years in the role.
• Hands-on experience with Content Management System tools.
• Background in the healthcare is preferable, with a strong preference for candidates with healthcare domain experience.

• Probationary period – 3 months
