Context and Purpose of the Job

RioMed is a leading clinical software company based in the UK. Our core business function is developing and delivering clinical applications. We provide customised solutions to meet the specific requirements of healthcare professionals. Our mission is to improve healthcare at the point of delivery through patient participation and real time data capture. RioMed has been delivering clinical solutions nationally and internationally since 1997, in a variety of communicable and non-communicable disease areas including, HIV, sexually transmitted disease, Osteoporosis, Elderly Care, Rheumatology, Cardiology and Diabetes.

The overall purpose of the job is to work as an effective member of the software team responsible for improving and developing additional functionalities for RioMed’s software product and creating dynamic and accessible web applications.

Main Responsibilities

• The candidate will have a strong background in front-end development with expertise in MUI and React frameworks.
• Develop responsive and accessible user interfaces using MUI and React.
• Collaborate with designers to implement new features and functionalities.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and optimize application performance.
• Write clean, modular, and maintainable code.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.

Essential

• Proficiency in Material UI and React.
• Experience working with TypeScript.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards, including WCAG.
• Solid understanding of frontend technologies including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Understanding of responsive design principles.
• Familiarity with state management libraries such as Redux.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and asynchronous JavaScript.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.
